but now that I've been exposed to the "personal curriculum" trend on the tikt0k, I've started doing more research and just now found a woman I would've loved to do a bio piece on.
I did my final project on photography in Appalachia and struggled so much to find any relevant information since it's not well researched or documented.
there is absolutely nothing worse than wanting to go back in time and redo your senior capstone thesis because I've only just now found a subject I'd want to write about ELEVEN YEARS AFTER THE FACT goddamnit
finished a crochet project in a decent amount of time and I don’t know who I am anymore
I'm so freaking annoyed at myself for sleeping through my run. I'd like to think I can go after work, but it's so hard to get myself to workout in the afternoons, especially in the summer.
all marketing for AI is so insanely tone deaf. people - REAL people, not corporations - want AI to do the hard things so that we can do the fun things. Don't intrude on our art. the last thing anyone wants is AI slop to take over creative spaces.
bookish thing: I love vampires and reading vampire novels, but I struggle so hard to get behind high fantasy vampires. It never hits right in a fantasy setting and loses all the grit that I think makes vampires truly terrifying monsters.

I'm obsessed with Clair Obscure Expedition 33. Makes you wish French people were real. 10/10
got a trigger at work that sent me back to one of the worst jobs I've ever had and now I can't focus on anything. I just want to go home and cry and crochet.
I will be sending weekly emails to my government representatives at every level until morale improves.
here I thought I'd love Weyward by Emilia Hart and so far (150 pages in) I loathe it. It's now a hate-read.

with ongoing hype around Fourth Wing, I’m now radicalized to write my own dragon story. To this day, no other book has made me so irate and Ill just take matters into my own hands.

I finished First Light by Liz Karin
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Honestly didn’t enjoy as much as the first book, but I still like her world of vampires. Reminded me a lot of Peeps by Scott Westerfeld.
Read if you want vampires but in a sapphic Breaking Bad-esque way
I can't stop thinking about a bullet point that said that he wants Denali to be called Mt McKinley again. How the fuck are you gonna enforce that? Fuck McKinley and Fuck "American GrEaTnEsS"
Finished reading The Wedding People by Alison Espach
⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
This book wants you to take your time. We do not rush through our thoughts and feelings, but instead Phoebe sits with us and explores it all.
A strange tale of rich people, relationships, and motherhood.
