Oh, I see Bluesky has now added support for GIFs. That's neat.

After much bug-fixing and making tiny imperceptible adjustments (in the end, I actually ended up coming up with my own dithering algorithm), I created a really nice-looking version of my avatar using only colors from the palette of Small Ponds!

Working on some type of color dithering algorithm. I converted my avatar to the 16-color palette used in Small Ponds. I think it still needs some work, but it's getting there. I think this might be a cool effect to use in a game.

Today, I created sound effects for various actions in the game. The waveforms are generated by the game, rather than playing audio files, giving them some authentic crunchiness.

I created an interesting menu system. It finds any map files in the map directory and reads their titles to create the level select menu. Then, you can select a map to load. It might make it easier in the future if people want to have custom levels, for example.
