Yeah! Even if it’s not intentional, it’s very much misinformation. Even if it were a huge time saver to use AI, they are at most saving 2 weeks of time, ha ha.
The Japanese reporting includes Media Do's actual plans (to help translators by shortening the "translation process" from 5-6 months to 2 months with MTPE." so that they can output hundreds more books a year (I think they mean the entire process from translation to pre-print, but okay...)

結局、触れたのは指１本だけだったので、そこを「One」にした。直訳すれば、「５本指のハイタッチを１本に」という、英語ならではの成立する言葉遊びだ。やっぱり漫画だからこそ、こうした翻訳上の工夫が強く活きる。
日本語だと二つの「いえーい」でのテンションの高さがはっきり伝わるが、英語だと同じようにはいかない（しくしく）。そこでビジュアルを活かして、ハイタッチしようとする場面を「Gimme five!」にした。直訳すれば「５本指のハイタッチしよう！」だ。ちなみに英語ではこれはセットフレーズだ。
ただでさえ普通の「よろしく」すらの英訳が死ぬほど難しいのに、ふざけた感じの「YOROSHIKU☆」となると、いつも以上に工夫が必要だった。とはいえ、ここが日英翻訳の楽しいところさ！自分の解釈では、今回の YOROSHIKU は「ありのままの俺を受け取れ。異議なしだ。」というニュアンスだ。だから、「ありのままの俺」は「フィルターなし（No filters）」に、「異議なし」は思いきって「返品なしだ（No refunds）」と、結構ふざけた方向に振った。透生の性格と文脈には合ってると思ってるけど、どうかな？
ちなみに、三麗が英語で噛むと、「S・SH」の音をほぼ「F」に、「L」を「W」に、「ST・TH」を「SH」に置き換えてる。
たとえば、「GUESS（ゲス）」が「GUEFF（ゲフ）」、「Like（ライク）」が「Wike（ワイク）」、「Worst（ワースト）」が「Worsh（ワーシュ）」になる。
かわいいっしょ？（笑）
久良みたいな女子が英語で絶対に言いそうなフレーズだったので、「言いたくなかったら全然いいんだけど」は「全然プレッシャーかけたくないけど」にした。“No pressure, but” 自体に「言いたくないならいい」という意味合いが含まれてる。だからそこをあえて説明的に書かなくても、はっきり伝わる。
でもだからといって「自然」なら何でもいいわけではない。なぜこのキャラが、この場面で、その台詞を口にしてるのか？そこを遡って作者の意図を汲み取ろうとする。自己流のプロセスだけど、自分に問いを投げる。なぜ友考は「大丈夫じゃないかも」と思ったのか？心配してるからだ。なぜ心配してるのか？悪い予感がしてるからだ。そうやって辿っていった先で、翻訳の言葉が立ち上がる。
「大丈夫だろうか」を「悪い予感がします」（I have a bad feeling about this.）と訳したのは、フレーズの自然な使用範囲が言語ごとに違うからだ。日本語では普通でも、英語では不自然になったり、キャラの声からずれたりしやすい。だからこそ翻訳家は、その場で最も自然に響く表現を選ぶわけだ。
なお、STEAK steak には少しふざけたニュアンスも込めてる。とはいえ、つみきは肉に関してはいつだって本気なので、それを軽んじてるという意味では全くない。ただ、少し笑いの入る場面なのでささやかな言葉遊びで原文のユーモアを拾い、できるだけ原文の味を保てればと考えた。
EN: Hamburger steak, STEAK steak
「ハンバーグ」は英語だとhamburger steakになるので、普通のステーキと区別がつくように「同じ名詞（太字）＋ 同じ名詞（強調なし）」という構造を採用した。この場合の STEAK steak は、「ハンバーガーステーキではなく、普通のステーキ」という意味合いだ。

LOGIC: Flesh out what Yutaka is actually communicating to Senga ("Is whatever you were going to say so bad that you really don't want to go first/say it??"), as a literal TL may be too vague in EN.
(2/2) Senga's personality offers the perfect, succinct solution. He's often sarcastic, so utilize passive aggression (that is already present in tone due to the sarcasm) to cut down on words by implying the meaning.
JP: 飲めないやつ自販機で売れないでしょ
LIT: They can't sell (drinks that humans) can't drink at vending machines, right? <grumpy/sarcastic tone>
TL: Duh. Why do you THINK they're here?
LOGIC: Very small bubble while "vending machine" is a very big word. (1/2)
