It is not legitimate, if its not transparency by default. services dont provide a notice of identified across borders. Littlerally using 'user-id' in the header.
All legal instruments and human/legal consent requires transparency first, its not legal - MFA breaches ph# and contact security.

Transparency Mis-Information -
Opt-Out is not a privacy right. Global Privacy Control is a security control.
Data brokering is secondary use of data without Consent, privacy rights would ban the use of data without out proof of permission and where required consent.

Discord pushes back age verification after security risks revealed Discord’s halted rollout exposes the inherent privacy risks of biometric and ID‑based checks.

Discord pausing its age verification rollout emphasises what privacy advocates have been saying about the technology: it creates a honeypot for malicious individuals, with no guarantees for users that the company they’re uploading their face to is safe.

Its the obvious Dictator Play Book - steal the elections - using big tech partnerships - create a federal police force, declare a state of emergency - close down the elections. Its pretty Obvious that this is the plan.

Lots of govt tech policy has been somewhat inexplicable this last year. The role of TBI is well known and something we all took for granted, and while ofc Palantir's relationship with the UK public services pre-dates this administration, there are some big Qs to be answered about Global Counsel

Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While HIS CLIENT , Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit

Both, as I wrote at time, were ‘abject failures of journalism’

The method which we are recommending, is that technologies are required to be provide notice before an application can profile you, which if you are a child requires a parental consent token and a log which tracks children data disclosure relationships. baked in security by default.

This is not a new practice - developed by Google cars that drive around your neighbourhood. Extracting your device-ids and routers so they can broadcast you to advertisers. Across borders - its no surprise this is now a US Gov app. digitalcontentnext.org/blog/2018/08...

The Transparency Lab, is very curious to know how enforcement agents are allowed to cover their faces while doing a public service. @404media.co Can you clarify the lack of transparent accountability in enforcement is constitutional? Why is this not a big deal?

The truth of the matter is, there is a significant difference between ones self-assertion o identity, and digital identification. A government that doesnt know the difference is incompetent. In addition, digital-id technologies have advanced, We dont need to carry it anymore. (Consent Tokens)
