Science demands focus, curiosity, and resilience. Taking time to center ourselves isn’t stepping away from the work, it’s supporting it!
Come work with us!!!
Congrats to @mohammadwiswall.bsky.social on receiving the Aleane Webb Dissertation fellowship! His dissertation is titled “When we get it wrong: The occurrence and consequences of racially ambiguous misperceptions” and we can’t wait to get more data analysis and data collection going!

Honored to accept the Ambady Mentoring Award @spspnews.bsky.social on behalf of my advisor Sam Sommers who passed away last year.
Sam built communities grounded in inclusion. A reminder that mentoring and expanding who belongs in our field isn’t secondary to our work. It is the work. #spsp2026
Hooray for diversity science!!

New paper! 🚨 We show that demographic forms can shape belonging. Across 4 studies, Latine Americans reported greater identity threat and exclusion when forms separated “race” and “ethnicity” or asked about citizenship—especially around major U.S. elections
