Crossover between who references what, it almost feels like when you’re in a jfashion comm you’re trying to prove your power level a little bit, signal that you’re just as nerdy as they probably are lol

It’s SUPER fascinating with this comparison in particular! One thing I’ve noticed is that in the egl/jfash comms, people reference magical girls as style inspo probably more often than not. But the selkie girlies tend to reference historical fashion and fairy tales. And while there’s definitely-

SAME, the Selkie community has the same aura as the livejournal-era lolita comm, but minus (most of) the weeaboo and plus some carrie bradshaw vibes!!

(tbh i think the more sizing options part is probably what caused there to be less mean people lol)

and that's where i left it monday night. yesterday was really just dedicated to getting the clothes on the rack, a task i still haven't technically COMPLETED... but it's MOSTLY done

the "entryway" to the attic, now that most everything's been cleared away from the main portion of the room. still a bit cluttered and used for storage, but able to get transformed into something more useful.
