VGM CON day 0 was excellent (as was day -1). I need to catch up on sleep before the main event, but I have gotten to meet and hang with a bunch of excellent people and had some really good conversations and it has been very nice.

One of the oldest most elusive sample mysteries, the stab from Spectrum - Brazil (1990) was finally sourced recently by garx. It's from a 1972 recording of God Save The Queen (from the L channel specifically), which ended up a staple sound in dance music re-sampled from Brazil many times afterwards.
