I'm so glad you're finally able to have it!
Thank you! Yeah, I just had a long talk with a friend about the strange pressures of how social media is now versus 5 or 10 years ago. Making choices about how you want to show up on socials feels so complicated.
Hello!
a photograph of a tarot card from the blood moon tarot
Apparently I haven't posted here in a month. It's always so tempting to drop off all of social media. But hey, here's a The Magician from my deck, the Blood Moon Tarot.
mixed media (graphite, watercolor and digital) sketch of a woman dressed in green, in the woods, holding a knife made of jade or green glass

"It's just a bad period."
A personal piece about Endometriosis.
My weekly cards from my deck, the Blood Moon Tarot, over the past few weeks.
Gonna frame this.
This Is the only quote reply that passes the vibe check lol
It bears repeating. Though, there's more to it than that as well.

And some of my work...
I feel like every program is just drowning in obnoxious AI now. Are there any good video editing and photo editing programs out there that aren't just... full of AI?

I will when I visit them again! (soon I hope)
They let me out of my cage for some enrichment (I befriended some orchids).
'Potential'. A dryad holding a magnolia in front of the night sky. She looks very much like a tree, and she has dark eyes and a hopeful expression. Made with colored pencil and green and brown watercolors.
'Death'. A woman in a romantic dress lies dead on the autumn forest floor, and a crown of white mushrooms grows on her head. Made with colored pencil and watercolors in yellow, brown, and green.
'Life'. A willow fae looks directly at the viewer. Her long green hair is covered with buttercups and butterflies, and white abstracted line art representing their growth, life, and movement. Made with colored pencil, yellow and green watercolor, and white ink.
'Dream'. A naiad in profile underwater, with swirling weeds all around. She looks very much like water, is transparent, and has white line art in her hair that looks like the movement of water. Made with colored pencil, blue and green watercolor, and white ink.
Hi, I'm a mixed media traditional artist based in the US, and I'm inspired by nature, folklore, and fantasy. ✨

You only have a short time to comment. They are trying to destroy our forests to enrich a few logging company executives and the politicians they’ve paid off.

"Artists peak at 30", "30 under 30", "by 30 you should" ridiculous. Arts industries capital craves young people to exploit and burn out. It doesn't want older artists thriving and guiding the young. It also doesn't want artists to exist. Stop letting cannibals tell you you only matter on a plate.
Dammit, we need a jester who specializes in puns. Surely just a sip won't hurt.
People horny posting about my fruit like I didn't paint it that way on purpose.
Buttprince knows, Buttprince gets it.
New work soon... a little WIP for now.
Dawn over Marl Pits (1)
digital painting
Drawing in brown pencil of a red-crowned crane (a kind of 'self portrait') with wings raised, head thrown back as though uttering a cry, standing on the back my character, #PudgyHorse, a baroque type horse with luxuriant mane and tail and deliberately exaggerated proportions, including an extremely generous girth and short, delicate legs with dainty hooves, who in turn is standing upon a burning pyre of books and art materials, issuing stylised flames and smoke. The drawing is a deliberate tribute to Arthur Rackham's illustration of Brünhilde riding her horse, Grane, onto Siegfried's funeral pyre, from the book, Siegfried and the Twilight of the Gods.
This was drawn a few years ago but might as well be apt for how I'm feeling this #YearOfTheHorse. Riding #PudgyHorse onto a pyre of my sketchbooks and materials. 🙃
Obvious nod to Arthur Rackham's 1911 illustration of Brünhilde's immolation scene from Götterdämmerung.
