But hey, at least I recognize it now and I'm starting to feel ready to do something about my situation. Getting out of the house more, trying to meet more people, get more sunlight, try to do less doom scrolling.

So cheers to that at least.

I recently began to recognize that I've been suffering from depression for quite some time now due to the combination of being unemployed for almost half a year and most of the world seemingly going to utter shit. Everything's just been feeling pointless overall.

I feel like retro is very subjective and connected to a nostalgic era of youth and simpler times. Doesn't really matter how old it is from today, but rather how old I was. Dreamcast was the last fully retro system for me as somewhere along the PS2 era I grew up and changed into a more jaded "adult."

A remade version of Ice Cream Island, the 2nd Hub World from the NES game Kirby's Adventure. Made in pixel art and using the NES palette. This is the first system where I can't find 10 games to fill the list. So much focus on grey and samey games with gun-man protagonists. Every friend who owned a 360 had it break on them AT LEAST once.
For me it was a good time to start investing into handhelds and retro games instead 😅

I had no idea Danganronpa even got released on the PSP in japan. Guess it's a Sony equivalent of the Ace Attourney situation on Nintendos handhelds.

Absolutely brutal to pick just 10 DS games, not to mention order them in any sane way. This system's library of games might be the strongest I've ever come across in my life so far.
