Improv does that too. Here they are vulnerable in the same way, but I would argue even more vibrant because their pure creativity is on display. I love that this show is gaining a following. Check it out if you haven’t yet.

We see celebrities doing something they don’t typically do, and being funny and charming while doing it. The reason Hot Ones stands above the myriad of interview videos in the ‘game show’ format, is because the hot sauce forces them to be present, in the moment, and not thinking about anything else.

I know this is going to sound so pithy, but Connor Ratliff presents The Acting Class is truly becoming the Hot Ones of Improv. Back when Hot Ones was starting to blow up after the Key and Peele’s episode went viral, when each new celebrity guest was more impressive than the last. Meg freaking Ryan.

Also it’s so good to see Erika Alexander again! The scene (in ep 3?) where she goes to a bar to try to pick up a guy was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time.

This is so, so well-articulated.

Not the same thing exactly, but the near universal negative response to the DLSS5 things has been slightly heartening

I’m happy Zemeckis and Gale will never make a sequel or reboot, but for me, this movie is the absolute best-case scenario - an loving homage that nails the fun and adventure, and plays with all the tropes, but has SO much originality, humor and heart that it stands on its own.

‘Nirvana The Band The Show The Movie’ is the funniest movies I’ve seen in years. An absolute must-watch for anybody, but *especially* if you love Back to the Future.

My main takeaway from Marty Supreme was not that greatness has a high cost and what truly matters is how you treat those around you, it’s that Marty was playing with a HUGE disadvantage with his wooden paddle versus Endo’s sponge paddle.
