One of several of our Imbe (Garcinia livingstonei) growing up. This tree is known as African Mangosteen, but we all know it better by the xiTsonga Imbe or Imbi. They are some of the slowest growing trees and dioecious so be patient and plant it with some friends.

My beautiful little cashew is flowering for the first time today. I love the entire Anacardiaceae family, but as far as fruit trees go this is definitely in my top 5.

Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) is one of my favourite trees. Not just for its amazing medicinal fruit which is great for general health, skin, and hair, and not for its mystic connections. But it’s just simply beautiful. We’ve put three of these in the ground thus far.

Heaven is not some far away kingdom, or ethereal realm. It’s not out in space. It’s right here all around us. Don’t believe their nonsense. Love your earth, cherish your earth, don’t let them take paradise from you.

Citrus is dead in Florida. Time to move our agriculture to mango, starfruit, hemp, persimmons, june plums, jamun, and many other alternatives. One exciting one is Pongamia!

Rains falling over Central Florida this evening, which means another cold snap. Looking after my Wild Plum (Harpephyllum caffrum) in the ground today.
