Found your post through the #CriticalRoleSpoilers tag. From what I understood (just finished the episode), any hand damage was halved on the head. The head damage wasn't spread to the hands. I'm waiting for @omenarchive.com to confirm once they've sorted it out, because yeah, it was a lot and weird.
