I'm a bit late, but I wanted to do art for the Artemis II mission.
It was such a spot of excitement and hope in an otherwise dreary news cycle and seeing the crew's joy during the mission was wonderful. It truly felt like an endeavor for all of us, rather than a billionaire's pet project.

It's been 2 years since I uninstalled w
Windows and made the permanent switch to Linux. While I still have occasional hiccups and issues, it's been refreshing to use an operating system not trying to force ads and online accounts upon its users.

Also:

Ai art can burn in hell. My opinion hasn't changed on that.

I have mixed feelings about AI coding tools.

For help building a simple static website, they works reasonably well.

For complex systems with a lot of nuance, you have to be super careful. I find that they often makes suggestions that would crash production or have catastrophic consequences.

Moderation at scale is incredibly difficult. I'd imagine that stuff stays up for a while since they rely on volunteer moderation and probably can't afford a dedicated team :/
