Blue Sky team, you're building something special and great here. Keep at it. Stick with it. And please don't sell it to an evil billionaire who's going to come around waving a lot of money to gobble it up.
Sincerely, a Happy Blue Sky user.
I wrote this story about the migration to Bluesky, what it means and what it tells us about oligarchdom, state actor propaganda, big tech and whether you're the user or the product. Tell me what you think. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/a-fun...
Just what I needed to listen to this morning. Thank you Dr @mamtaaccapadi.bsky.social and Dr. Kyle Reyes for this fabulous conversation.

A photo of a monarch butterfly flitting among the leaves of a tree high above the photographers head against the cerulean backdrop of brilliant BlueSky (see what I did there?)
Context for my banner photo: monarch butterflies- the epitome of hope: Migrate thousands of miles, lay tiny eggs on increasingly scarce milkweed in hope one will become a caterpillar.
A large group of people (members of the 2023-2024 ACPA governing board) pose for a group photo in Chicago at the June meeting.
Leave it to Apple Featured Photos to remind me of this incredible professional community, @myacpa.bsky.social family.

Today, November 20, is Transgender Day of Remembrance
I feel bad for the young girl killed in Georgia.
Also, where is this media attention when trans women and women of color are murdered? Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance and we have wall-to-wall coverage of this trial while members of Congress are banning trans people from using the bathroom.
This is amazing! @krisrenn.bsky.social was my dissertation chair at MSU. I love that she and Melissa are granting funds to doctoral students!
