This morning I was at Windsor Castle with Tracy and my mum to collect my OBE.

I’m still incredibly humbled to have been nominated & proud it’s in recognition of what we’re doing in Mcr.

🧓 Supporting vulnerable residents across the city to live independent good lives

Good to see this rolled out across GM.

Too many kids are held back by homelessness.

We’re fighting back in Manchester, more social and council homes, stopping families in b&bs, funding prevention- that’s why we’re bucking the trend and *reducing* homelessness.

We have exciting Holt Town regeneration plans to build a sustainable new town in the heart of the city. 4,500 new homes, jobs, cultural hub & green spaces.

First wave of cold weather council payments to to start this weekend Estimates suggest some 8,000 people in Manchester who are entitled to the benefit are missing out
