I finally finished this piece. Yay! And yes, it is funky on purpose and uses older lineworks in the photos (like memories, perhaps?)

Btw, it's kind of a "draw this again" thing. I certainly like both of them, but there's a stark difference betweenJuly 2024 and now. Maybe I can do a lot better in a year's time again.

Once a golden afternoon

If anyone visits MegaCon Orlando in March and sees it, come and say hi. My friend will most likely be delighted.

A neat detail about the wings: they can be taken apart, are transport friendly (I somehow need to take them from home to Munich and then Orlando), weigh less than 2 lbs total and look free floating from the outside. The opposing magnets are hidden beneath the shirt. (Shush, I know the back is ugly)

I did take a few liberties, including the headpiece, cause I wanted it to be as flashy as I could imagine.
Fun fact: it's just wire, felt, feathers and pearls. Took about 3 hours to make this (mostly for stringing the pearls...and accidentally dropping almost finished lines...)

Hooray! I am finally done with Bon-chan after having the unfinished costume on the dress form in my office since February 2025. This took 80+ hours, but it was worth it...I think..
The pictures don't do the amount of sparkles justice.
