This weekend I am going to That London, where I will do my best to get the top deck front seat on the bus from Euston to Herne Hill to see friends I made 40 years when we started our nurse training. I’m flipping between “OMG how exciting” and “OMG how is 1985 40 years ago?”

Oh, for pity sake. I understand why the GP nursing assistant wouldn’t take blood for my coeliac follow-up: it wasn’t on the normal annual bloods schedule and neither of us could find out what it was (tta? IgA? Ttag? Who knows). But just not bothering even with a blood form is just lazy.

And to the guy who is “taking our country back”, you are. Right back to the 19th century. You should be ashamed of yourself and your hypocritical “Christian” values. Christ certainly would.
