Not sure if this counts, but my husband and I both worked in retail. One day we came home, utterly exhausted, and I said "I guess I need to put up the Christmas decorations." And he said "Why?" Neither of us could think of a good reason. Our home has been Christmas-free Zone now for over 40 years.
