If you aren’t familiar with NFL player, Braden Smith, his journey with scrupulosity was featured by a few writers last year. His journey to resolution is different than yours but also interesting.

Someone should send this to JD Vance.

As a Colts fan, I appreciated your take but can't see that staff wanting to take on another QB with even questionable study habits that relies too much on physical traits to succeed. Jones is loved by the staff and players for reasons that Kyler would be unlikely to match.

After seeing the deals signed yesterday, it sure seems like we will see Grover, Buck, Q, JT, and Downs in line for monster contracts after this season. 2026 feels like the last run for this team regardless of how well it goes.

I am interested in hearing what people see on tape from ZF. He has a reputation that doesn’t match what Colts fans have watched the last couple of years. Guy made a lot of tackles moving backward 5-7 yards downfield and couldn’t cover anyone. Personality may annoy new teammates.

This is the kind of person for whom social media is a vital outlet because everyone in real life has stopped listening to their ultra confident takes on every subject.

Working through the Cradle series by Will Wight. Fun fantasy adventure series with shorter books than the big epic series are filled with.

Most were not for Trump because he was such a great candidate, but were largely "Trump because the radical left will do all kinds of evil". Namely fears of "trans agenda", abortion, illegals, and fraud.

Those people now largely post about how political everything is online.

I swim against the tide of Evangelicalism. I graduated from a traditional Christian college, live in the smalltown midwest, attend a largely orthodox Christian church, and my kids attend(ed) a Lutheran grade school. There has been a large swing amongst friends/family this past year.

He definitely didn't catch 112 passes though. That may have been how many targets he had. I think the phrasing in the article is confusing.

Why do teams keep reupping on practice squad/futures players when they don't pop after a couple of seasons?

Wouldn't it make sense to turn that group over frequently to see if you find a talent somewhere else that maybe didn't fit the system they were in?

It may be the right thing at the wrong time. A new GM with a coaching staff he didn’t pick coaching a quarterback he didn’t want (Richardson) or one that might not be healthy (Jones) an no 1st round picks. If you are going to throw 2026 away I’d rather keep CB for ‘26 and then clean house.

I'd love to see the acquisition of NIke Run Club. Apple provides very little in the realm of training/coaching for runners despite its popularity. NRC is a distant competitor to Strava and Garmin but it would add a core feature to Apple Fitness that could gain them new users.

I see chatter amongst fans that we should move Sauce for picks, but with Kenny aging, Mooney uncertain due to concussion history, and Walley recovering from injury the secondary next season is far from solid. With no young depth at 3 levels (minus JTT) where does the defense improve next season?

💔 A European Parliament interpreter could not hold back tears during the speech of 11-year-old Roman Oleksiv from Lviv.

The boy survived a missile strike on Vinnytsia on July 14, 2022, which killed his mother - it was the last time he saw her alive.

“What should we do then?” the crowd asked.

John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”

I get the injury situation with Daniel Jones being a focus, but this defense has only held opponents under 20 points 3 times all year. Has our offense and the non-Bradley defense hid some trouble with our D this year? @jakearthurnfl.bsky.social @zachhicks2.bsky.social

I would guess their tank is on the opposite side of yours and they may not realize the hose will stretch that far.

When you combine these things with the increased cost of college, the absence of savings, lack of affordable housing, risks taken on crypto, high interest car loans, and the delay or abandonment of marriage -- the financial prospects for young men is crushingly low right now.

Random thoughts on the upcoming challenges for young men:

1. Job markets are changing as companies look to replace entry level/high turnover jobs with AI.

2. Credit card debt is skyrocketing after COVID related stimulus money helped some recover.

3. Online gambling is an epidemic.

I wonder if @zachhicks2.bsky.social and @jakearthurnfl.bsky.social have looked at how hard it is to add a top flight CB through free agency. I don’t love giving up 2 firsts, but #1 corners don’t often get to market without big Qs (Ward may have been one) and R1 26-32 isn’t likely to find one.

A Christianity that is known for its cruelty is a Christianity that no longer knows Christ.

It’s not lost on me that in Daniel 4, Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar that he can avoid the fate of his dream by practicing righteousness and showing mercy to the oppressed. It’s almost like God expects those in power to use that power to care for the un-cared for. #bible

I don't know who needs to hear this, but ... you can never find Christ through Caesar. Christ is found on a shameful Cross, its bloody wood planted in a garbage dump betwixt two thieves. He is found among the hurting, outcast, and sick ... not playing with Caesar in a throne-room.

Chris Tomlin’s Worshipwashing of Charlie Kirk The memorial service for Charlie Kirk on Sunday (Sept.

Chris Tomlin & and the Christian singers created a connection between well-known & beloved worship songs & the political agenda of Charlie Kirk. Such worshipwashing of Kirk’s ugly politics is hurtful to the Christian witness.

We came down on the side that non-believers are more in need of Christians who see them as neighbors to be loved than enemies to be examined.

7 months ago 0 0 0 0

This is perhaps the take that I agree most closely with though I understand that not all agree and that is okay. The unqualified praise of Kirk happened in our own church and it was a clarifying moment for our family. What do we believe our Christian witness should be?

Legendary North Central coach Al Carius inspired athletes beyond championships | NCTV17 Remembering Al Carius, whose 54-year run as head cross country and track & field coach at North Central touched lives on and off the track.

@coachbennett.bsky.social The running world lost a wonderful coach this past week with the passing of Al Carius. His mantra of "Run for fun and personal bests" reminds me of much of your own messaging.
