He knows John Ryan very well and Nankervill obviously. He's also coached the All Blacks XV and Maori All Blacks who both played Munster and Thomond. I reckon this has been in the pipeline for a while

Donk is a great coach and a good man. Pretty staunch, old school. Calls a spade a spade. He'll love the culture and history of Munster
