I ran around and collected all the food in the monastery to buy one lockpick then they sent me to the dark room and they took the lockpick away
I absolutely hate that place
when I wondered around the monastery too much they put me in a dark room for 24hrs
after 4 game days I just punched a monk in the face, got what I needed and broke out of the place
the higher monks were mostly corrupted
After getting stuck for 5 real hours in the monastery as a monk I feel extremely liberated
The game is truely a medieval life sim
