Loving Suikoden 2 HD Remaster.
Story is compelling and surprisingly fast paced which I love, makes it hard to put down.
No filler or annoying side quests so far (7 hours in), just "oh shit' moments every 15 mins.

Hard agree, wasn't expecting to but I've been loving Avowed so far. Super streamlined, doesn't overwhelm you, side quests all feel worth doing and apparently it *isn't* 100 hours long 🎉
Total dream to get to write a classic Western showdown! And over the moon to have @clarkaboud.bsky.social here on electric guitar, totally nailed it. Full version and soundtrack will be out with the game in a couple months :]
there's a new reading list called "The New Ultimate Universe: Year 1" that has everything chronologically from the stuff that sets it all up that you should start from, it all seems really promising - currently checking out the taskmaster 2020 run you suggested!
