How many more zeroes on AI generated writing responses do I have to give before everyone realizes it's not saving them any time and is destroying their grades?

This is why 95% of our writing assignments this year have been paper and pencil.

Interesting but not surprising, in a fascist state.

I'll always find it interesting that in some McCarthy-like HR interrogation, my (personal) tweets about Israel getting missiles from the US to kill Palestinians (this was in 2020) was read aloud multiple times and my own union lawyer suggested I could be considered antisemitic <3

The United States has been fascist since its inception. It didn’t start or end with Trump.

Maybe they’re on to something

So I watched the shooting video frame by frame and it looks like:

1) They were beating a struggling man with batons

2) His jacket opened revealing a gun in his waistband or lower back

3) The agent in gray grabbed the gun and was walking away

4) THEN the other agents shot the man in the back

A general strike is a good place to start and should be the bare minimum.

Headline reads: “Private Equity Finds a New Source of Profit: Volunteer Fire Departments.” Subheadline states: “Rural departments have long relied on cheap software solutions to keep their operations running. Screenshot of a news article describing financial challenges faced by the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department in northern Connecticut. The department’s $132,000 annual budget barely covers equipment, training, and station upkeep. The article explains how their incident tracking software was discontinued after being acquired by ESO Solutions, a private equity-backed company. The replacement software would cost over $5,000 annually, up from $795. The department found a cheaper alternative, but ESO acquired that brand too. Assistant Fire Chief Matthew Ludwig is quoted saying, “We don’t have a big tax base… we have to watch our pennies.” The article concludes that many emergency response tools were originally built by field professionals to keep costs low, but corporate acquisitions are now limiting options and raising prices nationwide.

Private equity ruins everything & this is a recipe for disaster. The hardest hit areas will be rural fire departments who rely on volunteer firefighters.

As much as I despise the New York Times, good for them putting this *under the radar" story on blast

Torture Techniques from CIA Black Sites Were Used at Alligator Alcatraz Amnesty International, interviewing migrant detainees, identifies use of the confinement box. There can be no denying it is a torture prison

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.
