I'm way ahead on ascensions for him vs the other characters

I've been finding him interesting, but really frustrating to play. I haven't played much of him since they buffed him though, so hopefully i'll have a better time
there's one in slay the spire as well
oh yeah my bad
?
it was down on and off all (of my) day while I guess the yanks were asleep
I feel much more motivated to read the zvi writeup of these CEO interviews than to actually listen to them.
me at 18, an idiot: wow, it sure would be cool if the world learned about my niche community and interests!
looks like potentially a fun goofy movie though
Just watched the street fighter movie trailer. the epicified orchestral versions of pop songs in movie trailers are such an ick dude. Do people really like this shit? It just feels so artificial and corporate
yeah, for sure.
I really prefer painfully sincere verbose over-explaining to glib vagueness
I think andy masley said that the other day
I actually think I prefer this to "we're going to annihilate your planet with our giant interstellar laser beam"
idk that much about it, I've just vaguely heard about it as a kind of precursor to LW
an old mailing list a lot of those sci-fi nerds used to hang out on
I thought i'd get the whole thing but I was out at 'em'
it has to have something to do with sl4 culture or something
Gojira - Silvera
Death metal. The main riff goes hard. Plenty of melodic guitar work, and a fun tapping solo. The chorus melody is catchy, majestic and eerie, with that borrowed major 3rd. Joe's singing is raw

Vulfmon, Evangeline & woody goss - Chicago Summer
Low volume funk. Breezy and fun and warm and fuzzy. The feeling of being at the beach in the evening distilled into a song. Feels so good when the bass comes in

Ninajirachi - London Song
Fun electro house rager by a top notch producer. It's so funny to me that we're already doing semi-ironic early 2010s nostalgia

Snarky Puppy, Metropole Orkest & Jules Buckley - Recurrent
More orchestral funk
A dissonant, angsty and infectious groove. Feels like a James Bond chase scene. Long track full of virtuosic solos, with a cathartic comeback of the main theme at the end

Knower - I Must Be Dreaming
Electronic funk. Louis cole's grooves are tight af. Fun and catchy chorus, with some interesting chord choices. Verses are filthy. Cosmic bridge. I love the way the rhythm section is every instrument

The Fearless Flyers - Ventura
Aeronautical funk. Just 4 guys in flight suits and shades syncopating. Fun riffs. Love it

Snarky Puppy, Metropole Orkest & Jules Buckley - Only Here and Nowhere Else
Not sure what genre this is.. orchestral jazz fusion??
The intro is so soothing. Something about the bass hook just tickles my brain the right way. It's addictive.

Mateus Asato - The Breakup Song
instrumental electric guitar ballad by a guy with chops and the restraint to employ them sparingly
Very warm, atmospheric, bittersweet, with a melody that gets stuck in your head

Track review thread for tunes I've been listening to for the first third of the year:
I've been to perth for a weekend and that was bad enough
I feel like I picked it up irl a long time ago (I'm Australian)
If I'm being honest "can you explain this gap on your resume" jokes make me want to die
