Still often think about Elpis, one of Final Fantasy's best sci-fi concepts that's tucked away in an MMO expansion. Outward beauty hiding it's rotten to the core. Society so sterile it bureaucratized the very act of creating life. A civilization that deserved to be taken out back like a sick dog.

Sword & Sorcery is when the soft animal of your body has to slay a fucking necromancer.

And also that manuals were critically important for computer games up until shockingly sooner than you'd realize and Arena's has A LOT of information.

Arena is actually pretty easy to digest if you look up even an abstract guide. The biggest hurdle I have with getting people into it is instructing them to change the dosbox settings so the game doesn't chug.
