This is the absolute best part of having goats: tiny super soft babies, gently trampling your legs, curiously staring at you, tolerating snuggles, enjoying scritches, occasionally calling their mamas, and taking breaks to drink milk.
5 baby goats sleeping on straw under a heat lamp. 4 of the babies (one white, two brown, and one black) are all sprawled together and leaning on each other, and one small black baby goat is just slightly separated from the rest of the group, curled up tightly in a little round ball.
I am completely perplexed on the #BabyGoatCountdown. I really thought 5 of my does were due on Thursday, and one more was due today. But only 2 mamas have had their babies, and nobody looks like they're close to going into labour. Oh well, the 5 babies so far […]
