No one will be taken off the list as a result of disagreements or misunderstandings. If exchanges get particularly nasty and things do not deescalate from them, I will evaluate whether it needs to happen. Suffice it to say, that has never happened before. Let's keep it that way.
If that means you need to take feelings or conversations off of Bluesky and resolve them directly with someone, please do so. If you need to mute or block people, please do so as much as you may need to. Conflict resolution is just a necessary part of life.
With that said, it's natural that as the community continues growing rapidly, people will on occasion not see eye to eye and may even dislike each other, and that's OK! I expect everyone to handle themselves like adults and use proper conflict resolution to solve their problems.

In my case they translated the *first* name! If it were you, it would be Esteban instead of Stephen sort of a deal
This is a relevant factor when you consider that at the turn of the 20th century, places still largely translated names! So my great grandfather's Mexican name is the Spanish version of what he was intended to be named in English.
Mexico recently has decided to stop being so lax about letting courts rubber stamp these things and wants the old timey records to have all matching names or no deal so now I have to wait a little longer than expected while I get records amended but it's happeninggggg
