I’m the last person to cheer on the institutional stratification rising endowments have contributed to. But let me explain why this is not a solution.

How should researchers think about responding over the course of the next four years? Here's what I recommend:

DOE is canceling already funded grants. Just found out one at UMD that started in 2022 for school administrators/leaders was pulled, with some nasty "cease and desist" language to boot. And UNF had one to pulled that was started in 2022 to build a teacher pipeline.

I'm gonna need seasons 2-10 of The Pitt be immediately filmed and released to cope with, well, everything. View it as a public service, if that still exists. And don't go ER/Grey's on us and start killing off main characters. We simply cannot handle that right now.
