Nice one Em!

Like an introvert dreading a scheduled phonecall...
Except the scheduled phonecall is unknown sea terror.
Every day. For 5 years.
I think drowning would be preferable.
That's awful I'm really sorry
An odd feeling is that the length of time almost makes you feel like an imposter in your own alcoholism, almost.
Observing this time of year shining a spot light on the issues surrounding it for so many people and feeling strangely unqualified to comment
I quit drinking 3,275 days ago that's a handful of days off 9 years.
As I ponder things that are still somewhat challenging:
Work Christmas parties
Weddings
Dancing
...that's it.
Everything else is better.
I may have gone too soft on this dog. Not certain
It has 🫡
Your Mum shouts at biscuits
Me watching pretty much any show with plot even if I am paying attention
20 nugs?
20 nugs.
One of those rare days when the imposter briefly fucks off and leaves a fleeting feeling that I might actually be good at this
I had the Maple and BBQ Double Quarter lb'er tonight and the pretzel McFlurry
Far exceeded the sad £30 borgor I stumped up for in a Heathrow Radisson yesterday 🥲
Give the people what they want baybee
Watched the rain come in over Bristol
Hope your Autumn is mild and filled with perfect sticks and paths free of people
Also bastardly hard so you couldnt complete it on one blockbuster rental.
Savage game
Ok excellent! So i got one of these recently. It's called an R36S it's £40 and has every Mega Drive, SNES, NES, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Advance on it.
Even has some PS1 !
Well worth a look. I had no idea such things were a thing
Em, random question, are you mega drive/snes era?
This would give me the absolute rage. Been doing the 10k steps thing all 2025 and even when ON IT the average is about 8-10 mins per 1000 steps.
If only it took 40 mins!
Bino envy
Todays plod with the hot blonde
Everything about this dude gives me unspeakable rage, absolutely terrible vibes
Today's plod
Some good blue sky Autumning
And some good sticky stick action
Do not buy into advice from those approaching 40, nor the promise that the uncertainty of your late 20s eases
The arrogance that you spend your 20s carefully curating, gently gives way to the realisation that you truly have no fucking clue what you are doing
And are now also culturally irrelevant
Todays walk
Wind had just blown out, finally. Autumn doing what it does, before everything turns to slimy shite
There is touch screen payment at the airport drop off.
It never ceases to amaze me how people who have been using smart phones for 15 years turn into "baby's first touch screen" when confronted with the simplest task
Type in your reg "OMG WUT" *mashes palm onto screen* "IT DUNT WERK" *lick*
The weird thing about kids is, it can be surprisingly hard to get them to reply despite having the phone permanently glued to their face
Enough
