FTLOG Sir, having sat through this whole debacle this afternoon, the only one who have let constituents down today are the oposition and your good self. This was a pointless debate taking time away from our government governing and focusing on things that really matter to us 😏

Astonishingly UK gov has awarded 34 contracts worth £900m to US-based Palantir, including a 7-year £330m contract to handle NHS patient data. There are major concerns about this, given Palantir’s links to the CIA, its contracts with the IDF, and its co-founder Peter Thiel being a major Trump donor.

For Andy Burnham to be PM he'd need

▶️ a winnable by-election (unpredictable)

▶️be chosen as candidate (Starmer would prevent that)

▶️every other Labour MP to stand aside (chinny reckon)

▶️Labour to immediately make him leader (unprecedented)

Al Carns is RIGHT THERE

I asked Kevin Warsh where his secret $100 million was invested. YouTube video by Senator Elizabeth Warren

I asked Kevin Warsh whether his secret $100 million was invested in any companies affiliated with the Trump family, Chinese-controlled companies, or financing vehicles set up by Jeffrey Epstein.

He refused to answer.

Not to be seen on the BBC TV News, doesn’t suit their agenda .

Also not to be seen in the Telegraph, Express, Mail, Sun, etc.

And nowadays not in the Guardian either.

Nigel Farage Has Personally Accepted £675,000 from Foreign Sources Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has accepted more than half a million pounds from foreign companies, governments, and donors while serving as an MP, DeSmog can reveal. Since July 2024, when he was elect...

“Farage rarely turns up to do his actual job. Yet he finds time to jet off around the world on his donor’s private plane and trouser half a million quid while families struggle. Reform are not on your side. They’re just in it for themselves”

It’s so obvious, it hurts.

Epstein was passed sensitive information by Mandelson. That is real scandal here. Only discovered once recent files released in the US. Then he was sacked. This story is over hyped but we are missing the treason by focusing on the sex which was the same bad judgement everyone around Epstein showed

Is Richard Tice’s picture AI-manipulated? Here are five giveaways Experts and social media detectives take a closer look at Reform deputy leader’s image of an apparent campaign event

"The photographer is real," say scrupulously honest Reform.

In which case, their supporters have 6 fingers, can perform levitation, and are campaigning to "Get Stuppence Out."

Stick to tax evasion, Tice. You're absolutely nailing that.

Senator Jon Ossoff neatly breaks down political corruption in America — and how Trump’s “Mar-a-Lago mafia” has exploited it.

Every single Democrat should be saying this.

The BBC integrating a specific political party's branding into a live to-camera report that lists that party's main (dubious) talking points is a gross dereliction of the broadcaster's editorial duties. If you live in the UK, you can complain to the BBC: www.bbc.co.uk/contact/comp...

I checked this too.

*20 seconds* of Reform logo display.

*No other* party logo displayed.

In local election purdah.

This is not normal. At all.

Check the objective facts. Thousands of people were friends with Epstein, he was a tax advisor, a socialite and a property tycoon and he also trafficked underaged women. Most cut ties when he was convicted and when Starmer found out Mandelson didn’t he sacked him

Reform UK 'looking into' Croydon candidate over 'research' paper that pushed Covid conspiracy theory Retired researcher David Booth is standing as one of Reform's two candidates in Kenley

Reform UK now says it is merely "looking into" Byline Times' revelations that one of its candidates authored a conspiracy theory article in a 9/11 Trutherb' journal.

It effectively claimed the COVID pandemic was a Pentagon-led scam. Bereaved families are furious.

Something very sinister going on at the BBC

The in tray contains some pretty meaty stuff including two wars and a maniac in the White House. If those in parliament had an ounce of patriotism they would just let the government get on with the bloody job.

The Mandelson fiasco reveals the true nature of Starmerism This is a prime minister who does not understand the difficult trade-offs involved in governing

Ultimately this is a story with a simple cause: the prime minister outsourced his judgement to someone he *really* shouldn’t have, and now he owns the fallout from that, and hard to see how his government gets out from under that one:

OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.

Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

Labour MPs need to realise this isn’t about getting rid of Starmer it’s about destabilising the Labour govt and getting rid of all of you .. for Nigel and his mates ! The media have been on overdrive on this since July 24 .. it’s the latest attempt but not the last !

1 day ago 1282 379 170 39

Anyone spotted (particularly media luvvies) that the process followed with the Mandelson appointment is the process which was in place throughout the Tory years. Starmer's first experience with this flawed process and he's changed it so it cannot happen again, remind us again, what's the story.

What time wasting from all these MP’s who couldn’t organise a bloody afternoon tea let alone anything like the international diplomacy that Starmer has carried out over the last 18 months.

Well, everyone will have their own view, and perhaps Olly Robbins testimony tomorrow will change the narrative again. But, listening to HoC debate, imo Starmer’s put up a plausible defense - and by admitting upfront the misjudgment in appointing Mandelson, partly neutralized that line of attack.

1 day ago 148 18 15 3

I listened to Starmer's speech in full, he is blaming the process not the officials tasked with carrying out said process. This is his first experience with a process which is clearly flawed and he's made changes. The question is why didn't the Tories make this change when they were in office.

1 day ago 129 37 10 1

Badenoch and Farage both welcomed Mandelson’s appointment at the time but now cry outrage because he failed vetting.

Which is basically the same position - both at the time and now - as Starmer.

The BBC has found a pattern of spikes in trades on financial markets ahead of public announcements by President Trump, including during the Iran war.

I don’t need to define most but Badenoch did, Daily Mail and Telegraph many right wing commentators i.e all those shouting now in hindsight. Also how does this degrade public life if the PM didn’t lie. Johnson lied Farage lies and maybe the country wants more of that stuff. I don’t
