In Prague for #elc2025, super excited to be talking about levelling up your teams using incidents πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¨πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¨πŸ‡Ώ

We do this! Everyone gets another gift, and then me and my husband raid the local bookstore and get something for everyone to accompany it.

Also, so rewarding to wrap them 🎁

I think the app is pretty bad, but use it almost exclusively through Spotify which has a decent interface, so it works out OK

Could not agree more with this - it's a real joy working with people who have a good eye for product, and having quick iteration cycles like this is the only way I know to truly raise the bar.

Attack the problem, not the person

I had the same headspin moving from ruby (snake_case) to go (camelCase)

I think if you're working silly hours like that, you can be drawn towards things that justify those hours. Shouting about it in public is one way of justifying the choice you're making - there's plenty of hustle culture folks on the internet that'll give you credit

I got to try this in an incident a couple of weeks ago and it's really, really cool. Super excited for our customers to get their hands on it ❀️‍πŸ”₯

We would love this too! Sadly it involves copying an access token out of your network tab, as there aren't official slack APIs available, so probably not something we'd want to productise until we can use oauth properly

This is why I always used Sad Trombone - you never hear that out in the wild πŸ˜‚

Feature request for a new and generally happy Claude user: can the `projects` page default to 'all projects' and not 'your projects' when
* You have no projects
* There are some excellent projects in 'all projects' which I always want to be using

Thank you thank you πŸ™

A text-based output showing the organization of 3 Slack channels. The channels were moved to different categories:

ext-cortex-incident-io was moved to External
project-ci-quick-wins was moved to Projects
provider-changelog-pulse was moved to Pulse
The output includes channel and category IDs in parentheses, and ends with a summary of moves (1 channel to each category) and a lighthearted message "Enjoy your Zen" with meditation and peace sign emojis.

Today I am grateful that Pete Hamilton got fed up of manually organising his Slack sidebar.

This tool is honestly one of my favourite work-admin hacks.

Thank you good sir πŸ™πŸ™.

Does anyone know how to clone a Claude 'project' so it copies across the existing project knowledge?

We want to use projects more seriously at work (sharing them, curating them) but lack of cloning is going to be painful.

I read this like 'the eagle has landed' and now want to know if any spy has used lasagne as a codename

I'm pretty pleased with how this revamp turned out. Looks better, reads better, and feels better πŸ˜‰

But not _only_ because you were wearing it around the office feeling smug, right?

Finishing up a week of on-call on a Friday afternoon can go a few different ways.
Sometimes it's a G & T during All Hands, then to the pub feeling hyper social.

But today was a juice box during All Hands then home for Lasagna and a rugby game.

10 year old me would be delighted at this outcome

Can recommend wrapping the salmon in foil with a lemon slice or similar - keeps it from drying out so it's more forgiving on timings

I totally understand why it's difficult, but if someone could fix Slack's 'sometimes your threads don't get marked as read' bug I will buy you a Michelin star dinner
