Marvel Snap - AI Deck Code from an Image - DeckCodes.chat

PPS. Finally, check out www.deckcodes.chat – it can take an image and generate the deck code!

Admittedly the AI gets tripped up sometimes on similar cards but it is still a handy tool to have!

Shoutout to my bro @safetyblade.bsky.social ! had to make sure I caught up to him on the infinite leader board!

He’s got the best decks and deck names!

Make sure to follow him if you don’t already!

Also shoutout to @laurenwhatevs.bsky.social bc Marvel Snap Math crew!

The future strength of this deck will be in question as the new counter cards (Stardust blocks Blink, The Thing FS can destroy a key card) overshadow the OTA improvements (Blink +1 Power, Tao -1 Cost)

Thanks for reading! See you next season!

Other thoughts:

KANG:
I can prolly count on 2 hands how many times my opponent played KANG – half of which were bc they copied mine

4) ...
Compare that to the effect of 3x Invisible Woman First Steps, although strong, is additive
2 + 2 + 2
= 6

The Takeaway?

Each doubler makes the previous doubler stronger.
Stacking doublers is very explosive and can catch players off guard!

4) Stacking: Additive vs. Exponential

In Marvel Snap – and in math – exponential growth outpaces additive stacking

The effect of 3x Iron Man (in the same lane) is 3 doublings (exponential):
= 2*2*2
= or 2^3
= 8x

And if this is on location [Onslaught Citadel], double it again:
= 8*2
= 16x
etc.

3) Matchups: Your Opponent

You are more likely to get 4 or 8 cubes off a rank 30,000 infinite player vs a top 10 infinite player.

As much as I would love to cook a Top 10 player, if I am drawing dead and the winning play isn’t in my hand - I have to be OK to retreat and move on to the next game!

2) Matchups: Deck and Location

Knowing the good and bad matchups against your deck is KEY - including both the opponents’ deck AND the locations!

I use an ongoing deck so Isle of Silence (Ongoing disabled) is bad. Combined with another bad location means just retreat!

1) Disciplined

TOP players (100 or better) are very disciplined.

As soon as anything unfavorable appears (i.e. bad locations) they retreat.

No temptation to stay in hands to “fish” for cards.

Same goes for the snap - knowing when to instant retreat vs “call” the snap and stay in the game.

I made the Top 150 Global Infinite Rank in Marvel Snap this month (technically still a few hours left, hopefully this holds!)

My thoughts as someone who is new to this TOP level of play as I normally finish in the 30-40k range but found a very strong deck that nobody is using!

Great ideas!

I did read about the Kang rework as well but I hope they leave him as-is!

I found a nice home for him and am slowly climbing ladder

I made this to scratch my own itch as a Marvel Snap player — and I hope it helps others who want a fast, no-fuss way to share or import decks from images.

Give it a try and let me know what you think:

So I rebuilt the whole thing as a web app:
✅ Works on both desktop and mobile
✅ No app store needed
✅ No friction — just drag, drop, done

It even saves your recent decks (locally), and lets you pin favorites.

Last year I built a Telegram bot that did the exact same thing.
It worked great — image in, deck code out.
But...

Biggest feedback I got?
👉 “I don’t use Telegram.”
👉 “I don’t wanna install another app.”
👉 “Where do I even start?”

This is great, thanks for doing this!

Admittedly I’ve been over at the “other” app for a while — didn’t realize that this was even a feature on Bluesky and how so many Snap players are here now!
