The Hegseth Pulp Fiction Prayer is sort of half fake news, though still embarrassing enough for film dorks (some of the most embarrassing people on the planet) to think it made him sound fake tough guy dorky.
But the fucking nuns at my school would make stupid shit up all the time.
The nuns at my primary school would tell us a story about 8 year old Jesus making clay animals with his friends, and everyone else's animals were shitty lumps, but his was a completely life-like bird, and then he whispered at it and it came to life and flew off into the air.
Total, utter bullshit.
The ground being 'humans doing a thing that humans want to see'. It will be small, it will be local, and it will not have a pathway to intergalactic success, but it is real and it is not going away.
We just have to stop trying to get on the spaceship.
I think it is better to think of mainstream creative industries not as dying but like a spaceship, lifting off to fly up into the heavens of infinite metrics... and leaving the ground it was occupying free for the humans still left to re-inhabit.
