I'm fascinated by writers' plot notebooks. I seem to be incapable of it. I have pages of random inspiration quotes from books/poetry I read. I write line by line; I seldom know beyond my first line when I start. Ridiculous. 🙄

I'm reading story notes I made before four months of inertia:
"Be sure the death is seen as perpendicular rather than horizontal, symbolic and hidden."
WTH does that even mean?
