When Australia needs a leader we got a politician.
When will the duopoly realise that Australians want a leader that puts Australians first.

Companies only have to look after their shareholders. Governments have to look after all Australians

Sad but ironic that the Australian disabled will fund the very war tools that will produce more disabled

Both party’s of our political duopoly assume one of them will always be in power. They have not realised that most people now see through the democratic mirage they fostered and they are no longer satisfied with their meaningless banter or the status quo

Our political duopoly have stopped pretending that they represent Australians & assume that one of them will still be in power irrespective of the electorate.
Australians are no longer satisfied with their do little, do badly or do nothing politics and the status quo in a changing world

Targeting supermarkets is just popular but lazy politics. During Covid, supermarket profit margins went up 1% while margins for shipping companies trebled to over 30% . Look at the suppliers to the supermarkets.

Sad to see such blatant favouritism

Exactly. Politicians and pandemics are a deadly combinatrion for the people.

Share price is not an indication of any illegal or immoral behaviour but bashing Woolworths is an indicator of political bias.

Maybe Barry but the problems in the USA and to some extent in all democracies is the two party system where the party takes precedence over the people, coupled with checks and balances that can be manipulated and avoided.

Must be hard for you to be a part of the Doolittle government

The Albanese government will be remembered as the "do nothing, do little or do badly" government.
He had a mandate to lead and make great changes for the benefit of all Australians but settled on remaining a politician.

Albanese was given a mandate to make significant changes for the benefit of the Australian people. Instead his government will be known as the do nothing, do little or do badly government. His motivation is simply to retain power for his party not to govern for the benefit of the people.

And AUKUS will require Australia to store and guard weapon grade nuclear waste from both UK and USA for over 100,000 years. Both are using Australia as a dumb dump for Trump.

But will they do it? IMO probably not at all or probably too little or probably too late. That has been their previous performance.

Pity Australia doesn’t have a NACC

3 weeks ago 3 0 0 0

NACC is doing exactly what our political duopoly intended it to do - protect their politicians from accountability. Remember it was the established duopoly of Labor and the Coalition that voted for the legislation of the current NACC. Independents and Greens voted against it.
