Watching The Wire. Every time I see Sgt Jay Landsman (portrayed by Delaney Williams), I can't help but see John Cena. It's nuts.

Better than your back, but still awful. 😢
Man, I wish I had markers I could call in. Owning a house is so dang expensive. First a leaky wall, now an AC unit. At this rate, I'm gonna need a second job.
On my way to Salt Lake City to drive my sister in law to Evansville. My wife is so excited she's living in the same city soon. I'm doing my best not to die from exhaustion of moving us and now her. But cross country road trip should be fun, right? RIGHT?! 😩
I've managed to avoid most spoilers for the Olympics. Finally got around to watching the Women's Hockey Gold Medal game. What a pass. And Hillary Knight seems like a stand up person. She watched as each of her teammates received their medals. Really cool to see her be proud of them like that.
Whew. This house thing is wild. We FINALLY have a date set for the repairs to the leaking wall. So many frustrating moments getting that taken care of. Now just one room left to paint and 3 rooms left to finish trim in. Moving in 11 days. Oh also, I've only packed 2 boxes. It's a lil stressful here.
Do what, Jam? Do what? 🤨
Back 4 Blood
Another thing, as someone whose eyelids literally tears off my cornea sometimes, I know how hard it can be to get through something like that. It stings like hell and it's hard to see immediately after. But a little bit of pressure and it goes away. IIRC your cornea replaces itself in 4 days.
I didn't even post about the biggest ufc thing yesterday. Aspinall unable to continue after a double eye poke. Lots of chatter about him being an actor. I agree that it certainly looked like he was milking it when he was getting beat up. That said, I don't think he's the type of guy to do that.
Calling someone Chocolate Peppa Pig. Wow.
Gonna be some UFC posts today probably. Here is my first one. Are you fucking kidding me?! Nathaniel Wood? No. He got his ass beat. Delgado was up 2 rounds, no way that was a win.
I did not have a Microsoft Comic on my bingo card.
Hey UK. Keep him.
2000 different words? 2000 of the same word? Or some amalgamation of the two?
I like to think that you just wrote the same word 2000 times. Resign. But also I don't know if your MP is trash or not, I just assume.
FWIW, they're securing it because any one of your citizens could pull out any one of the guns they're allowed to have and become a MAJOR security risk.
What do you mean you can't just have guns? Oh...yeah, probably the driving on the left thing.
A friend asked me to go to Target to get something for them. Normally I would avoid the place, but I try to be kind. Damn, that place is a hell hole. Couldn't find an item, used the kiosk, still no luck. Tried to ring an associate with the kiosk twice and no one came. Fuck that place.
Yessss! My favorite thing is to put ice in it and see how many days and refills it can go til it's all melted.
A screenshot of the upcoming temperatures all at or above 30 Celsius.
I feel that brother.
It's Dune: Awakening day on twitch which means it's time to find something good to watch somewhere else.
Done. That one is particularly painful. 😂 It sounds medical. Is that one you've actually played or just made up for this discussion?
Personally, I feel like when they have Z's, and X's, they get 'angry'. Why are dragon names specifically this way? And at some point, we all decided that they should be that way and it's weird to me.
Not at all! Like I said, I don't think they should be named Brian, just do they have to be so complex? For example...some of my favorite characters I've played: Mittellos, Cassidy, Piven, Jorin. They don't have to be mundane, but they don't have to be words from the old magics, either.
Literally don't, but okay. It's a legitimate frustration. But whatever. Happy writing.
Eh. Agree to disagree, I guess. You can have good names without them being overly complicated.
Gandalf
Aragorn
Strider
Gimli
Ged
Not to mention Heden and Ajax.
My point was never that it was a bad name. Though, I think it is. It's that too often we go for novelty over simplicity.
Vaantikalisax. I don't understand why people make fantasy names so...let's call it intricate -- not to mention aggressive. I'm not saying everyone should be named Brian, but do we really need 5 syllables and 2 of the bottom 5 most used consonants? 😬
An IGN article claiming Pokémon are real.
@ign.com you're dumb as shit. Real Pokémon fossils. Child, it's a made up IP.
