especially from an artist's perspective, being required to engage with the Online™️ aspects of a few different fandoms or communities definitely motivates me to set up more boundaries than someone who's here just to hang out and chill since people can be Very Normal to artists online

it still sucks bc yeah if someone is already struggling it’s even harder to keep up with all the Glitter and Performance shit u gotta do these days but it’s never a true reflection of your actual skills and worth as an artist!

its kinda crazy to me bc people used to be able to get by with pretty simple displays but now it seems like you really gotta have a polished set up to look ”pro” enough but i guess that comes with rapid commodification lol

but I am brainstorming a few cheap but good looking table concepts :3c

ive Been getting rejected a lot too lately tho i have a strong hunch that a lot of cons, which now get 100s of applications, are speeding thru The selection process out of necessity so they end up defaulting to picking people who either have a very polished display or have strong name recognition

We plan on looking at homes next week so I’m bumpin this!!!
