“Egg” shaped boards are also an attractive option for older skaters. A larger riding surface increases stability while sacrificing some maneuverability. This long legs model is a great example of a stable egg board.

Do you ride like a normal board? Most modern skateboards have a wheelbase of 14in and the width is between 7.75-8.5 in wide. There are boards that are much wider, like in the 9 or 10 inch wide that also have wider wheelbases.

If you use the board for commuting, than longboard trucks should largely improve your experience. I have an 80’s shaped board that I swapped out the trucks for lb ones and I love crushing around on it.
