I'm sorry to have offended you. I was having a discussion about LLM data trees and probabilistic searches which deal with "when is the thing the thing" problems and your comment about adjacent elements not being the whole made me curious about your meaning. I expressed myself poorly. I apologize.
Now you're getting it!
Ok. But it's Deadpool, so...
I was mistaken as to purpose.
@darrylayo.bsky.social
I didn't mean to offend you. I was just discussing something similar and made assumptions about your thread that were incorrect. I apologize unreservedly.
OK. Let's not bombard this thread anymore.
Because stating the obvious seems unnecessary.
A wheel isn't, no. A single part of the whole isn't the whole. But at what point do enough elements become adjacent that the whole is represented sufficiently?
Am I reading too much into this? I do that on occasion.
No, it isn't. I think the metaphor is change over time with continuity of form or purpose. Hence, is what we perceive as "the thing" now and forever "the thing", and has it always been "the thing"?
I was curious as to what point that transition occurs in this thread scenario.
One up? No. Inquiring is all.
It's Deadpool. The plot holes and story threads to nowhere are expected.
I've got some really mind-blowing news for you in about 5 years.
When it's needed to be known, known it will be.
Well, yeah. That's how that works politically.
I'm not defending them. I just think context is important to understanding. Those boomers who refuse acknowledge their privilege and deal with the consequences are the issue. Unfortunately, there's a lot of those.
This deserves a round of applause.
The only accurate measure of one's intellect can be taken in toto as the life one lead, ascribed by all but self.
Do you listen to podcasts ?? May I suggest :
WHAT IN THE WINKLERS . Funny .. honest .. my family .. take a listen
Well, OK. I will.
Tomorrow I talk to @carriecoon.bsky.social on the show.
"But just think of how many signs you *didn't* crash into" - some ai prompt 'programmer'.
It's like you wrote the show!
I had considered Demon Realm rules to be the ultimate out for anything in the series from episode 1. The whole thing is a *huge* RetCon anyway.
Eh, I like the sentiment, but it absolutely is. Economic sanctions are extortion. Embargoes are extortion. Weapons sales to allies can certainly be extortion. Do what we want or experience some pain is extortion.
But I think we can agree his methodology is far from statesmanlike or constitutional.
The rats are in everything.
They weren't catered to, as such. They were born and came of age during a time of unprecedented growth and prosperity. While their Depression-era parents were drilling them on frugality, the very nature of what it meant to be successful was rapidly changing that advice into hypocrisy.
OK. You sold me on it.
And you were right about the last DB:D. It's nice to see a little GT love thrown in to make SS4 canon. Although that does raise a few questions about DB:S...
