Kim Dotcom: Told my wife to have dinner ready at 6 or I will obliterate her entire civilization.

She now charges me a fee to use the bathroom, that used to be free, and I didn't get dinner. WTF

Artemis II Return
NASA's Orion spacecraft carrying Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialist Christina Koch from NASA, along with Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen from the CSA (Canadian Space Agency), splashes down in the Pacific Ocean near San Diego, California, at 5:07 p.m. PDT, (8:07 p.m. EDT) on Friday, April 10, 2026. The Artemis II test flight launched on Wednesday, April 1, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to begin its 10-day journey around the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and to build on our foundation for the first crewed missions to Mars. Ray Kappe’s Monumental Fireplace, from House Feature to Historic Artwork | Getty News Artist Evan Curtis Charles Hall tells the story of the now-lost Erdley House and its innovative, midcentury fireplace and chimney—which survived the Palisades Fire.

Story about the home my in-laws built, where my wife and her siblings grew up, and where our family spent many happy days over forty-plus years -- and one of the first homes to burn in the Palisades Fire last year. The fireplace and chimney live on.

I'm gonna say that senators and representatives posting on social media that the madness has to stop is pretty weak sauce. These are people who, unlike the rest of us, can actually DO something to stop the madness. So maybe put down your phones and get to work?

Mr. Trump asked what it was like when the astronauts were out of communication with the rest of humanity. Victor Glover said, “I must say, it was actually quite nice.”

A photograph of Earth seen from space against a black background with faint stars. The visible hemisphere prominently displays the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the large brown landmass of northwestern Africa, and swirling white cloud formations scattered across the globe. A thin, bright blue atmospheric glow traces the top left curve of the planet.

In memory of Claudio Bordignon, pioneer of gene therapy - Telethon His work combined scientific vision, experimental rigor and a constant focus on the potential impact of research for patients affected by severe inherited diseases.

Surprisingly heartbroken by the passing of Claudio Bordignon, a true founder of the field of gene therapy. I haven't seen him for close to 30 years, but he was the type of guy you remember for that long - for his intellect, his charm, and his knowledge of Barolo. Rest in power, my friend.

Follow-up on this. Made kind of an Old Fashioned riff - 2 oz Rittenhouse Rye, 0.25 oz of this stuff, dash each of Ango and orange bitters. Didn't grab me off the top but got a bit better as it diluted. Could have been a tad sweeter. So next time I'll use bourbon or maybe bump this up to 0.5 oz.
