It’s #WorldNTDDay 2025 and we are halfway to the WHO NTD roadmap 2030 target. 54 countries have eliminated at least one NTD—showing real progress is possible! Yet 1.5+ billion people are still affected by these diseases, with women and girls most affected. 🌍
📣On World NTDs Day, let's raise awareness on Neglected Tropical Diseases! Over 1 billion people suffer from these poverty-related diseases, yet they lack attention & funding. With limited market incentives, public funding in global health innovation (including from the EU) is crucial to fight them🌍
