After careful consideration and conversations with supporters, campaign staff, and community leaders, I’ve decided to suspend my campaign for Congress.

Thank you so much to our volunteers, donors, and supporters for their belief, energy, and dedication.

As the year comes to a close, I’m proud of what this campaign has built together. We’ve grown from an idea into real momentum—powered by conversations across the district and a belief that public service should be about people, not ambition. Onward.

I’m Honored to earn the endorsement of Commissioner-elect and former State Representative Tom Keen. His recent win proves that when good Democrats step up, the pendulum swings our way.

Congratulations to Lake Mary High School football team on winning the Class 7A state championship.

An incredible season capped off by a finish people will be talking about for a long time. That last-second Hail Mary was legendary. Well done, Rams.

(4/4) As Jewish communities observe Hanukkah, a season rooted in resilience, we must reaffirm that no one should live in fear for practicing their faith, and that hate will always be met with solidarity, justice, and an unwavering defense of human dignity.

(3/4) Antisemitism is a cancer that eats at the core of society when it is tolerated or ignored, and it must be confronted clearly and without excuse.

(2/4) My heart is with the victims, their loved ones, the Jewish community in Sydney and across Australia, and the Jewish community here at home as they grieve and heal.

(1/4) What should have been a night of faith and celebration for Jewish families in Australia was shattered by a targeted act of violence meant to terrorize an entire community.

Holding the Brown community in my thoughts today. Violence like this leaves lasting scars far beyond the immediate victims, and my heart is with everyone affected. No campus or community should have to experience this.

Grateful to the Democratic Women’s Club of Seminole County for inviting me to their holiday gathering 🎄 🕎

I appreciated the chance to answer questions and talk directly about the challenges people here are facing, and why listening locally matters most.

It’s been a productive year on the trail. As it comes to a close I thought I would share my story, because now more than ever people want representation from someone who has faced their same struggle.

Had a great time at the SemDems + Rainbow Democrats holiday party🎄🌈

Really grateful to the local leaders and neighbors who put this together. It’s a reminder that real wisdom and momentum come from the people who live and work right here in our community.

Cory Mills is unfit to serve as proven by his actions. Our elected Representatives should hold themselves to a higher standard, and Corrupt Cory Mills continues to fail to do so.

Representative Harris’s endorsement means a great deal to me and to the movement we’re building. Families in Seminole and Volusia counties are demanding real change. I’m honored to have Representative Harris’s support as we take our fight for lower costs and higher wages to Washington.

Commissioner Britton’s endorsement reflects our campaign’s growing momentum and the movement we’re building on behalf of everyday working families in Seminole and Volusia counties. I’m proud to have Commissioner Britton in my corner as we take our fight for everyday Floridians to Washington.

Grateful to spend last night with the Port Orange Democratic Club. Change doesn’t come from DC insiders: it comes from neighbors organizing, showing up, and fighting for a better future together.

More than 32,000 veterans are unhoused. 1.2 million veterans rely on SNAP benefits. And nearly 25% of active duty service members and their families face food insecurity.

This Veterans Day, we must commit to building a country where our veterans are truly supported.

Today marks the beginning of 42 million Americans losing their critical SNAP benefits. I know exactly how important these benefits are, I relied on them growing up and it made my story possible. When I’m in Congress, I will make sure to defend and fully fund these live saving programs like SNAP.

Happy Halloween from Team Widmann! 👻 While tonight’s about candy and costumes, the real fright comes when everyday people are left out of the decisions that affect their lives. Together, we can make sure our government works for all of us: no tricks, just accountability and action.

In just a few short days, nearly three million Floridians won’t receive their SNAP benefits.

These programs aren’t just numbers on a budget; they’re critical resources that keep families fed.

We need leadership that stands against depriving our most vulnerable of food. It’s time to vote him out.

And if you’re able, please join me in supporting the Pearlman Food Pantry and all our local food banks so we can ensure our neighbors have access to food when they need it most.

Despite the necessity of SNAP benefits, Cory Mills and extremists in Congress are playing politics with our families and our country. They’re holding critical benefits, paychecks, and our government hostage in order to gut our healthcare and further their partisan agenda.

I know from experience that SNAP is not only about food: it lifts households out of poverty. The SNAP program has helped nearly 6.6 million people stay above the poverty line, including some 3 million children, like myself.
