Project is strongly inspired by Made in Abyss, with the gameplay more specifically inspired by Reg with his retractable arms. I think it'll make for quite the fun mechanic, so hopefully it turns out well!

Sprite-A-Week is a personal challenge I'm going to try to do over the course of 2026, where every week, I'll make some pixel art. It can be for games, animations, or just stand-alone, as long as I'm flexing my pixel art muscles.

I keep getting into my own head when it comes to sharing WIP footage, so I'mma try forcing myself to share more whenever I'm happy about progress!
Very early footage of some redone dashing animations and the current state of the game!
The combat feels much faster despite the reliance on stamina, and the new animations are helping a lot! Not quite done with the visuals, but we're on the way!

Currently working on a stagger system for Punch Punch Punch! Strong and slow attacks will build up fatigue, and if it reaches 100, the boxer will become staggered. Using a strong punch then will force them to fall! #gamedev #2dfighter
