I'm waiting until after the results of November's election. It wouldn't surprise me if the expectation of a GOP collapse is greatly overstated. One thing trump's elections have shown is that for many Americans democracy and the rule of law are of secondary or less importance in voting.
While I hope you're absolutely right, I am not that confident you are! A nation that twice elected a criminal racist conman president. With the party that embraced his lies white supremacy and autocratic behavior in majority in both houses, I'm not so sure of a rapid demise. November will tell.

The Epstein affair points out that the principle of equality under the law is not perfect. In fact it proves that given enough wealth some are "Too Rich to Jail"! In fact many are too rich to even investigate, even in the face of powerful circumstantial evidence that would indite almost anyone.
