This is over close to Lot 10 in Bukit Bintang if I remember, have to see if I have a pic to match. I usually stay in Mont Kiara but ramen place over there I go to ever so often.

I have had this discussion several times. I am here to read and learn from people, that could be daily events. If I want to know world news I check a journalist or news. I have no desire to begin a cycle of information dump of mostly 95% irrelevant info, people are just used to the “drug” of it.
I will eagerly be awaiting it’s Netflix release to put on for background noise next year.
For those that know me Kuala Lumpur is my favorite place to be in the world. The people the mix of culture and the food there is no better place. While this is a good photo I like to show it as while not perfect this is on an iPhone and edited as such. Emphasizing use what you have in your hand.
That’s what I’m hoping for, because any light on that late should have a story !
There is an exercise I want to try one night I haven’t done yet. The thought was to go late on a workday 1-3am find buildings that had lights on and you had to create a one sentence narrative told by the photo. Something about the stillness at night that can lean so many ways with architecture.
Thank you so much , had not considered that but now that you mention it some similarities. Trying to go with the gut more vs pre planning architecture to get some more creativity going lately.
@joeltjintjelaar.bsky.social I think the story on the process you took with this is one that more artist should hear one day. I always find it awesome watching your"technical" steps. The mental process here is one I think a lot of us don't realize is shared in how long it's in our heads sometimes.
Fantastic shot here, this has just the perfect separation of dark and light to give it depth and feeling. Reminds me a LOT of this shot Fan Ho did called Afternoon Chat that I admire quite often.
I have a motto I stated a long time ago I stick with thats simple, "Never Stop Creating". Inspiration by vision, words or care impact those you may have never known were looking.
This photo is one of two that got me started on understanding the beauty of fine art black and white and what It can be. Great to see you here and cant wait to see what you can continue to inspire us.
@juanngospodarou.bsky.social thank you, however you are not allowed to like this photo until you know that you and @joeltjintjelaar.bsky.social both where who I mentioned when it got honorable mention on this photo this year and who continue to inspire me.

I have to agree, nothing against video at all but it's shifted to short form disposable content unfortunatly.
It’s so funny that’s how I have felt , I did walk out to go grab some coffee at rival today but frankly just enjoying the downtime.
This strikes me of the complexity an intracacy of the world behind still to be reflected by the loneliness during this time. Just my feelings when I see this.
I need more of this , inspiration comes from the strangest places for me and it’s usually in a medium or style I can only admire but not interested in…initially.
I have seen more exceptional photos with meaning and feeling in the short time on here than my entire length of time on IG. The algorithm there just pushes tack sharp, no character preset images 90% of the time of the same “most traveled list” it seems.
If they can keep the theme of the movie without shifting too much to the Netflix algorithms of shows it’s looks good. It is ironic how many topics of this nature we keep discussing , but then you question is this part of disinformation or education…or can be like me and it’s all just entertainment.
This is on my list next time I’m over in Europe , such a fantastic building by her. I’m going through the book Taschen put out of her complete work on the coffee table now.
First like a glove , kinda….I love these kind of photo hacks. Is it 1.33x , can’t tell if the sign is a little wide or aspect. I saw a video the other day where they took a mobile anamorphic and attatched it to that 28mm “chip” lens that viltrox kickstarted.
It’s a choice , don’t thrive on other people’s noise daily. If I go to a library I don’t want to check out everything at once , I want to review what I’m there for and move on to the next. If I want world headlines I’ll check the feed of a journalist or news outlet , even ones I don’t align with.
I think you are in the minority here, why do I care whats trending with people I have no interest in or follow. The point is to bring back being social, not hoping on trends that have zero to do with what I care to see.

Have to say you are slowly becoming someone’s photos I look forward to. Between framing and color choice really admire your eye.
check @flakphoto.news he has a good set of solid set starter packs photography and art
Beautifully done, and even more compliments to the chef on it then!
Was this film? As much as a die hard b&w lover I am the to Matts point the color and shadows here are fantastically done.
Appreciate that, will check them out when I get a chance. I am in the same boat, I fear another addition to this hobby that will just increase spending more!
It is earned, not given, believe me...there are photos you like and then there are people who have earned it.
