I’m sure like Helen of Troy being the face that launched a thousand ships, this bisley drawing launched a thousand artists. I was too proud to copy it but man this was something else the first time you saw it. My younger brother did a genuinely great copy of it though.

This is my favourite drawing I've done lately. I love his stupid face.

Without stating your age, post your favorite film released the year you turned 18.

You ever notice how in the Superman the Movie poster, he's got one fist out, and on Superman II he's got two fists out? Well BUCKLE UP, I gave him three and four fists for Superman III and Superman IV, respectively. Hilarious!

They're cowards for not doing this.

Don’t miss out on the reprint of my beat ‘em up history book. We keep selling out! 😳

It’s a deep dive on 40 years of the genre, from Streets of Rage and Final Fight, to modern genre heavyweights.

I can't stop laughing at this, even though it's additional proof that the species is on the slow ride to the dustbin

If your Kickstarter video/image is AI, I won't back it.
If your book has an AI cover, I won't read it.
If you're a public supporter of AI use for creative work, I will unfollow you.
I cannot stress enough how offensive I find AI use in the arts. It is outright theft, it is lazy, it is gross.

A high-angle, close-up shot of a miniature film set reveals thousands of tiny, colorful painted Q-tips representing a crowd in a tiered desert arena, with small Micro Machines figurines standing in arched balconies.

The Phantom Menace (1999)

One of my favorite filmmaking wizardry*: the spectators of the Mos Espa's pod race are actually Q-tips (and some Micro Machines, including Prince Xizor from Shadows of the empire, 1996).

That's movie magic.

(*or... Quality tips)

It's important to remember, that as charming and mysterious as Dracula may seem to be, he is still the most vile and evil of all of the creatures that could roam this earth.

As a pre-teen in the eighties I would go in the bath and my younger sisters would gather round chanting "bring out the Branston" from the popular advert. I would then proceed to squeeze out a teeny tiny poo to much applause. What can I say, the black & white TV was on the blink.

I’m imagining the State of the Union speech to be like the dinner scene from Braindead, as bits keep dropping off Trump’s decaying body as Mike Johnson runs around putting bits back on and pretending everything is normal.
