When Betty takes VR baths, it's almost always post concert. She uses them to relax her poor nervous system. Most often she's in a night-time fantasy glade pool, surrounded by huge trees lit by fairy light, bathing in a pool of magical glowing water. Birds sing as soft mist drifts across the water.
Unfortunately, regular people don't have access to baths on Starbase 65; they're limited to 10-second-long high-pressure showers of mostly-detoxified recycled water. The only way to take a bath is in VR, which my characters do indulge. Sadly, the more time you spend in VR, the more you lose reality.
I refuse to process this information. 😅 No. I will not.

Just hanging off the bottom of this big blue sphere, watching endless space drift past as we spin.
One of my favorite things growing up was to focus on the fact that I'm in space. Lay on my back in a wide open clear area where I can see the night sky, focus on it, and think of the Earth as being above me, I'm dangling from the bottom of it. Hold that thought long enough, you really feel it.
I fuckin love that kind of shit, oh it gets me so excited and I feel so happy thinking about it. I want to be in space so bad.
