So yeah a lot of cleaning up older stuff too.
I hope i can get back to making more fun stuff like animations and story.

Statically typed everything:

GDScript has optional typing, but you can specify types for things and it will make the code faster and cleaner.

There was a shit ton of old and new code that didn't have types (especially return types), but with some help i was able to add static typing to everything

A text log showing the various scores given to Abilities for each target, for the party member asteria

New battle AI:
The old system was pretty dumb. It was mostly random with a few priorities like healing low health allies.

The new system gives each ability + target combination a score with a little bit of randomness, then picks the highest one.

I haven't been giving a lot of dev updates on Mira's journal, mostly cus what im working on isn't very visual, so here are some things i did the past few days.

New revive system:
You can heal a knocked out ally, and every turn they have a chance of getting up equal to their Health %
