My mom doesn't normally use a wheelchair, but has leg problems, and there's a recurring problem of Busan expats' parents visiting, learning how much of a walking city it is, and needing surgery to recover when they get back. So I made her use a wheelchair.
Who knew pushing my mom all over the city in a wheelchair all week was such an effective exercise routine? I lost 12 pounds in 6 days.
Despite paying like $1500 extra to get her a direct flight home, it was canceled due to "turmoil in the middle east," shifting her to a new route with 18 hours of layovers in multiple countries.
My mom finished her week in Korea. Glad she finally got to see how cool Busan is and why I never leave.
