This always confused me, because red is the correct answer if you're a pedestrian? The cars stop, you cross.
Maybe they mean to refer to the pedestrian crossing indicator, or imply that you're in a car, but cars don't cross the road!

So NASA uploaded the most spectacular photos from the lunar fly-by.
And I didn't know but I was in exactly the right position when I photobombed the picture this crop is from. I reckon I was outside waving when it was taken. So behold, me XD

It's so damned EXCITING

I've been glued to the stream for... oof, over 12 hours I think. I cannot wait to see the black orb with the solar corona from the far side of the moon as they were describing it. Just... awe-inspiring.

I've been watching the whole time and went outside to wave at the moon just to photobomb this since I'm on the edge of the light crescent. BEHOLD, MY TERRIBLE HAIR.

Wasn't so bad when the one I used most let you still toggle to use the "classic" dictionary, but they seem to have pivoted to ai bullcrap and it's become far less useful. I'm looking for alternatives but the space is just saturated at the moment it seems -_-

I've been learning russian for about two years pretty much just using apps so I'm NOT good at it at all, and I find myself correcting the translators sometimes.
They've gotten actively worse just in the time I've been using them.

Exactly! So much of language is context. Can't cobble it together like algorithmic lego, and a plagiarism machine that makes shit up is far worse.

I use translators to talk to a few people and even though I still absolutely suck at the language (but learning) I find myself correcting them quite a lot. I have to check multiple ones. I get by, but fuck me thinking an ai one can do anything but spew confident sounding bullshit at you is... wow.
